What is NABERS certificate and BEEC?
NABERS – National Australian Build Environment Rating System
Used to measure a building’s energy efficiency, carbon emissions as well as water consumed, the waste produced and compare it to similar buildings. Buildings are given a star rating based on their assessment on a scale of zero to six stars.
BEEC – Building Energy Efficiency Certificates
A Building Energy Efficiency Certificate sets out the energy efficiency rating of a building or area of a building that is offered for sale, lease or sublease. It contains two parts: NABERS rating and Commercial Building Disclosure (CBD) Tenancy Lighting Assessment.
